Your journal entries

Your private journal entries are yours alone. They are stored securely and are never shared with other users, partners, or advertisers.

Community features

When you choose to share a check-in in the Together feed, your screen name and what you share will be visible to other members. You are always in control of what you share.

Published obituaries

An obituary you write stays private until you choose to publish it. Publishing puts that one page on the open web at its own address: anyone can read it, no account needed, and search engines may find it. What becomes public is exactly what the page shows — the obituary’s words, dates, and photos. AfterPoint does not add your account name or email to the page unless you include it in the obituary itself. Edits you make after publishing stay private until you publish again. You can take the page down at any time, and it stops working right away.

Data security

We use industry standard security measures to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to protecting your data.

You may request to access, update, or delete your personal information at any time by contacting us at privacy@theafterpoint.com

Age

AfterPoint is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
