What AfterPoint is

AfterPoint is a grief support companion app. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care, therapy, or crisis support. If you are in crisis, please contact the 988 Lifeline.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to provide accurate information when signing up.

Community standards

AfterPoint is a safe and sacred space. By using the community features you agree to: — Treat all members with kindness and respect — Not share content that is harmful, abusive, or threatening — Not share personal contact information of other members — Honor the vulnerability of this space We reserve the right to remove content or accounts that violate these standards.

Your content

Journal entries and private writings belong to you. By sharing content in the Together feed you grant AfterPoint a limited license to display that content to other members within the app.

Membership and payments

Membership fees are billed as described at the time of purchase. Refund policies will be clearly stated at time of purchase and will be completed before public launch.

Limitation of liability

AfterPoint is provided as is. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app. We are not responsible for the content shared by other users.

Age

You must be 18 or older to use AfterPoint. By creating an account you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. AfterPoint is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
